This cooled conveyor (1) comprises a screw (2) connected to a shaft (3), around which the axis (4) rotates. The screw runs between the charging opening (6) and discharge opening (7) of the casing (5). In the new unit, cooling is provided for the screw, shaft and/or casing. Additionally, the screw includes a lifting device.
