METHOD OF FIRE-FIGHTING AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION

FIELD: fighting high-temperature sources of fire. SUBSTANCE: inert foam of mean multiplicity is formed in foam generator 1 by supply of gaseous nitrogen through branch pipe 7 and of solution of foam former through branch pipe 3. Pyrotechnical gas generators 14 are burnt simultaneously in combustion chamber 13. Formed gas carrying aerosol of inhibiting substances runs out of ejector 11 into foam barrel 15. Solution of foam former is sucked into foam barrel through tap 8 and flow controller 9 which mixes with pyrotechnical gas and forms foam saturated with inhibitor. In flat-jet checker 16 foam acquires flat configuration, disperses through net 2 and turn highly multiple. Two-layer foam including inert covering foam in upper layer and fire-fighting inhibiting foam in lower layer is produced across outlet of device. EFFECT: effective fire fighting of high-temperature sources of fire, reduced time for their control and increased range of supply of foam flow.
