摘要 According to the claimed method, the relative motion of drive and driven elements is converted to a component of the relative motion of intermediate and support elements, the latter being restrained and the relative motion of the intermediate and support elements thus being converted to motion of the intermediate element whose vector forms an angle with the vector of the drive element motion. By adjusting the angle in question, the transmission ratio is altered within an unrestricted range of values. The device for the periodic transmission of motion by the proposed method comprises a differential mechanism with four moving elements. One of the elements, the intermediate one (9, 63), has a kinematic link to each of the other three elements, i.e. the drive element (6, 60), driven element and support element (8, 62). The latter is restrained in accordance with the phases of motion of the intermediate element by a restraining element (11, 65) which has a differential kinematic link to the drive element (6, 60) and driven element (7, 61). An element (10, 64) is provided to regulate the transmission ratio and is part of the system for altering the parameters of the kinematic link between the intermediate element (9, 63) and support element (8, 62), independently of the state of motion and position of those elements. The proposed device for the continuous transmission of motion has several intermediate elements (9, 63) of differing phases of motion.
