Illumination device for optical-strip lighting-system

The light strips and the reflector are arranged as a one-piece illumination element. Electrical and mechanical components are disposed in between two parts which form a U- shaped open channel. The reflector is arranged mirror-symmetric w.r.t. the vertical mid-plane which includes the longitudinal light axis. The two parts which form a U-shaped opening are made of thin material and are connected to a stiffening element.
