Sampling from water treatment plant

In a process to take water samples from a water treatment plant with a waste water inlet and a treated water outlet, and incorporating a number of treatment stages, the sample is taken from a treatment vessel in which the surface has been partly lowered, positioned upstream of the chamber from which the sample is drawn. Also claimed is an appts. in which the clean water outlet (10) incorporates radial openings, and the outlet (10) incorporates a closure (14) plug through which samples are removed.
