<p>An anti-theft mechanism for a vehicle door lock device comprises a latch mechanism having a latch engaging with a striker, an opening means for releasing the engagement of the latch and the striker, and a lock lever connected to a key cylinder of a door and changed between a locked position and an unlocked position, and a relay mechanism having a sill knob lever connected to a sill knob of the door, an anti-theft member arranged to be changed between an anti-theft cancelled position and an anti-theft position, and an actuator for anti-theft operation for changing the anti-theft member. The sill knob lever is arranged to be pushed by the anti-theft member to return to the locked position, if the anti-theft member switches from the anti-theft position to the cancelled position when the sill knob lever is in the unlocked position.</p> |
