摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the flatness of a sheet by comparing the influence coefft. patterns to the respective sheet flatnesses of work roll benders and intermediate roll benders with the influence coefft. patterns of intermediate roll shafts and operating the intermediate roll shifts. CONSTITUTION:A manipulated variable detector 13 compares the manipulated variables at respective manipulation ends with the limit values of the manipulated variables for the respective manipulation ends to asertain whether said variable exceed the limits or not. Then, the detector outputs the limot over signal to a flatness control circuit 16. An influence coefft. computing device 14 computes the model calculated values of the influence coefft. from the rolling data while the actual values of the manipulated variables are under measurement. The calculated values are outputted to an influence coefft. pattern comparing and computing device 15 and a flatness controller 16. The computing device 15 delivers the control decision signal to any of the work rolls 2A, 2B and the intermediate rolls 3A, 3B to the flatness control circuit 16 in accordance with the model calculated values of the influence coefft. calculated by the computing device 14. The control circuit 16 determines the manipulated variables of the intermediate roll shifts and outputs the same toward an intermediate roll shift controller 10.</p>
