<p>PURPOSE:To decrease a traffic on a local area network by sending a data between an input device and a storage device through a high Speed bus line so as to improve the operability at the registration of image information. CONSTITUTION:A scanner 7 receiving an original read command from an S/PIF 44 by the control of a PMPU 41 reads an original, sends a bit of picture information to a PCMOP 47 via the IF 44 and sends the reduced picture to a work station WS. The picture information is sent simultaneously to the FCOMP 27 of the PS 2 via a HBUS 10 and an internal bus 30 from a PHBIF 31 and the compressed picture information is stored tentatively in a FMEM 23. On the other hand, the WS receiving the reduced data from the PS 3 displays the received data on a display device via a LAN 9. On the other hand, in receiving a registered key word and a command, the FS 2 inputs it to the FMPU 21 via the IF 26 to write the compressed information stored in the FMEM 23 into OD4, HD5.</p> |
