PURPOSE:To prevent the drop of electrostatic charged potential even during the repeated cycles of charging and exposure by forming a layer composed of a dispersed charge generating material and further, a fatty acid ester of polyoxysorbitan. CONSTITUTION:The fatty acid ester of polyoxysorbitan is added to the layer containing the charge generating material dispersed into it, and said ester is chemically adsorbed and becomes recombination centers of charge generated by light absorption, thus permitting the charge generated by preexposure fatigue to rapidly recombine and the drop of the charged potential of a photosensitive body to be restrained by losing the charge, accordingly, sensitivity to be held high, the drop of the charged potential to be extremely reduced, and the charged potential not to be dropped even by repeating the cycles of charging and exposure. |
