<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a jam in a reversing mechanism for sheets of paper by providing a flexible member capable of being bent as a cutform is bent during the shift of the rear end of the cutform from between first and second rollers to between second and third rollers, the end of the cutform being engaged in an engaging member. CONSTITUTION:The end 100a of a sheet of paper conveyed and advancing in between upper and lower guides 22, 23 is guided while being made to abut on a flexible member 50 to slightly bend the flexible member 50 and also being extended straight from its curling state. The end of the sheet of paper is engaged in an engaging member 24 and positioned. Then the sheet of paper is forcibly curved within a curving space between the upper and lower guides 22, 23 and the flexible member 50 is largely bent because of the toughness of the sheet of paper. When the rear end of the sheet of paper reaches an A point the sheet of paper is moved from A to B point by the action of the elastic protrusion of a driving roller 1 to feed paper, whereby conveying of the sheet of paper is started.</p> |
