<p>PURPOSE:To easily and safely bond plastic within a short time without using chemicals such as an org. solvent or an adhesive, by applying ultrasonic vibration to constitutional plastic material and melting an energy director. CONSTITUTION:A plastic member case 2 forming a small chamber for fixing an ink bag having ink received therein and an inner lid 3 are bonded by ultrasonic waves. For that purpose, a structural energy director 5 for converting vibration energy to heat energy is provided to a part to be bonded. When the case 2 and the inner lid 3 are vibrated in this state while pressed by an ultrasonic vibration oscillating horn capable of applying vibration energy to plastic, the energy director is melted and the molten part is naturally cooled and solidified when ultrasonic vibration is stopped to complete adhesion. Moreover, when a small groove 6 for trapping flash is provided, functional inferiority due to flash is prevented.</p> |
