摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To relieve an impact during excessive load running and to prevent damage of locking of a regulating ring, by a method wherein the projected part of a locking ring is engaged with the end part of each spring, and either of a plurality of outer projection pieces is bent to press it in the notch of the outer periphery of the regulating ring. CONSTITUTION:Rotation of an input member 1 causes rotation of a power transmission member 6, engaged with a recessed hole 3 of a flange 2, is rotated together with an output member 4. An excessive load is exerted on the output member 4 and is difficult to rotate, but the input member 1 is about to continue rotation. The transmission member 6 is pushed out from the recessed hole 3, a press ring 7 compresses a spring 11 and is moved backward, and the transmission member 6 is engaged with a subsequent recessed hole 3. An impact produced during repetition of the engagement is relieved by bending in the direction of rotation of the spring 11 though a regulating ring is about to rotate by means of mutual inertia of the input member 1 and a regulating ring 9. Even if the motion of the press ring is caused, the press ring is moved back to a specified position through the action of the spring 11 to keep a given position. Since an impact produced due to engagement and disengagement of the recessed hole of the output member with and from the power transmission member during excessive load running is relieved through bending of the spring, the regulating ring is prevented from loosening.</p>
