发明名称 Converter for generating electric energy (hot-cold current-generating element)
摘要 A converter for converting heat into electric energy (hot-cold current-generating element) has at least one first semiconductor made of a wire-shaped or strip shaped P-conductive material and a second semiconductor made of a wire-shaped or strip-shaped N-conductive material. The conductors (2, 3) are located over part of their length in an area with an increased temperature (5) and over another part of their length in an area with a reduced temperature (6), these areas being electrically insulated from each other. The ends of the conductors in the hot area are electrically short-circuited and the energy supplied in the cold area is very strongly dependent for each pair or conductors or the like from the length of the conductors in the hot area and/or cold area. This design is useful to recover freely available energies, such as hot gases in motor vehicles or solar energy, in a technically simple and economic manner.
