A method for producing nutritive rice made of wheat as a main raw material includes the steps of uniformly pregelatinizing refined wheat at steam heat of 90 deg. C for 5 minutes during feeding the refined wheat through a screw conveyer, rapidly cooling gelatinized wheat of 100kg with cooling water of 50kg and stirring the same, continuously stirring the wheat for 30 minutes by improving its viscosity to make a paste of gel state, and for complete gelatinization ripening the paste in a rotary screw stirrer by frictional heat at a rotative force of 100RPM. The ripened paste raw material is put in a hopper of an extruding automatic molding die and then extruded. At this time, a little of soybean milk is added thereto. When the raw material is exhausted through several hundreds of molding dies, it is uniformly segmented by a rotary cutter to produce rice shaped particles. Then, the segmented rice shaped particles are put in a hot-air drier and then dried at a temperature of 70 to 90 deg. C for about one hour to manufacture nutritive rice. The manufactured nutritive rice is puffed at a temperature of 100 deg. C or more for ten seconds to manufacture sweety popping confectionery having no artificial additives. |
