The knob-securing arrangement of the parent Specification is modified by locating the spindleengaging tongue 7 between the ends of the encircling spring collar 10. As shown the collar is made from a strip 1 of steel of sufficient length to encircle the knob hub, and the tongue 7 is formed by bending-up a portion between longitudinal cuts 6. A V-shaped slot 8 provides a projection 9 which can be turned up to form a claw diametrically opposite the tongue 7 to engage the spindle. |
