PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a navigation system in which the guidance of course can be started immediately when necessary. SOLUTION: A driver inputs a starting point, a starting time and a destination previously at an I/O section 12. A navigation processing section 10 sets a course search starting time at a moment of time preceding the inputted starting time by a predetermined time and monitors concerning whether the current time recognized by a clock 104 having calendar function has reached the course search starting time or not. When the course search starting time has come, a course from the starting point to the destination is searched based on the data in an intersection data file 142, a node data file 143, a road data file 144, etc., in a data file 14. When the starting time has come, running is guided along a searched course. |
