PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable optimum communication and to reduce consumption of a battery for a portable telephone equipment, for example, by housing both a radio call receiver and the portable telephone equipment in the same housing. SOLUTION: Both of the portable telephone equipment 9 for speaking by combining a portable terminal to a general telephone line network by radio and the radio calling receiver 2 are housed in the same housing 1. In this constitution, the on/off button 7 of the terminal telephone set and the on/off button 8 of the radio calling receiver 8 are turned on/off so as to simultaneously operate either or both of them. Concerning display of an incoming call, the message of the radio calling receiver 2 is displayed in the upper area 5a on a display 5 shared by both of them, and the message of the portable telephone equipment 9 is displayed in the lower area 5b on the display 5. An ear piece 4 for information on an incoming call is common, and the portable telephone equipment 9 transmits and receives a speech by operating dial buttons 6 and through a mouth piece 12 and the ear piece 4. |
