PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive circuit for reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: A motor drive circuit comprises a waveform combining means 5 for combining the trapezoidal position detection signals PS from a motor M and feeding back the combined signal to an output stage, a constant amplitude circuit 6 for detecting a voltage difference between the maximum voltage and minimum voltage of a motor drive output voltage DE outputted from the output stage and feeding back this voltage difference as the amplitude signal WS between a switching regulator 2 and control signal voltage CSE through the negative feedback route and a torque ripple correcting circuit 7 for detecting a ripple element of an output voltage through conversion of an output current from the motor M into an output voltage and executing the negative feedback of the corrected output voltage CE between the control signal voltage CSE and constant amplitude circuit 6 depending on detection of the ripple element. |
