PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a crude refuse treating machine with which charging and discharging of crude refuse are easy by integrally constituting a fermentation vessel and a motor and turnably and pivotally supporting this fermentation vessel at an agitating pawl shaft, thereby constituting the fermentation vessel in such a manner that the vessel is changeable to an upright posture, inclined posture and horizontally laid posture. SOLUTION: The circumference of the fermentation vessel 15 is covered with an outside frame 16 and the agitating pawl shaft 17 is horiontally inserted into the central part of the fermentation vessel 15. Pawls are implanted on the agitating pawl shaft 17 and are rotated in the fermentation vessel 15, by which the agitation is executed. Further, the fermentation vessel 15 is turnably povotally supported at the agitating pawl shaft 17 to constitute the fermentation vessel 15 in such a manner that its feed port is turned downward at the time of discharging contents. The motor 20 for driving the agitating pawl shaft 17 is integrally disposed diagonally before the bottom of the fermentation vessel 15, by which the crude refuse treating machine is constituted. As a result, the fermentation vessel 15 is turnable on the agitating pawl shaft 17 from the upright housing posture to the inclined charging posture and the horizontally laid discharge posture. At this time, the motor 20 turns together with the fermentation vessel 15 and changes from the forward position through the immediate lower position to the backward inclining position symmetrical with the forward position.
