PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately run and stop a medium replenishing/collecting machine to an automatic transaction device. SOLUTION: When a medium replenishing/collecting machine 2 runs and stops toward an automatic transaction device 1 and a little position deviation is generated at its stop position, a medium 20 conveyed through a conveyance path 30 is fed into a recognizing part 12 while still generating the position deviation. The recognizing part 12 is provided with a sensor for the direction of lateral deviation for recognizing the kind, etc., of medium 20. Thus, the laterally deviated quantity of the medium 20 is detected and reported through a laterally deviated quantity reporting part 41 to the medium replenishing/ collecting machine 2. The medium replenishing/collecting machine 2 corrects its position by getting the correction information of stop position corresponding to this laterally deviated quantity.
