PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency and service of jobs by automating the absentee voting in election. SOLUTION: The absentee voting device is provided with a storage means 221 where the list of voters is stored, slot 5 for a first medium 3 which is distributed from self-government to voter individuals and describes data for identifying the voter individuals, a reading means 14 for reading the data for identifying the voter individuals from the inserted first medium 3, and an input means 13 for inputting the personal identification code data of voters, data required for absentee voting and data for identifying any candidate selected out of candidates. Based on the data for identifying voter individuals, the registration on the voter list is confirmed, the identity of voter is confirmed based on the personal identification code data of voter, and voting is performed by inputting the data required for performing absentee voting and the data for identifying the candidate. |
