<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the treatment efficiency of a solvent while dispensing with addition equipment for treatment the solvent desorbed from an adsorbent by providing an electron beam irradiation device irradiating a solvent-containing adsorbent with electron beam to a desorbing column. SOLUTION: An adsorbent 12 having a solvent adsorbed thereby is fluidized in a multistage fluidized bed 4 to be moved to the lowermost stage of the fluidized bed 3 and transferred to the upper part of a desorbing column 2 from an adsorbent transfer passage 7. The adsorbent 12 transferred to the desorbing column 2 is allowed to fall in a moving part 14 and the falling adsorbent 12 is irradiated with electron beam from an electron irradiation device 3. When the adsorbent is irradiated with electron beam, the solvent component adsorbed by the adsorbent is removed during falling and the adsorbent 12 is desorbed and regenerated. The solvent removed from the adsorbent 12 is decomposed into a harmless substance such as H2 O or CO2 by electron beam.</p> |
