<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multimedia data to user fairly corresponding to data transfer capacity between a server and a terminal or information storage capacity in the terminal. SOLUTION: A server device 1 stores all the multimedia information. Terminal equipment 3 which provides the multimedia information to the user by a display device 10 is connected to the server device 1 via a transmission line 2. The terminal equipment 3 is provided with a means 4 which stores a part of the multimedia information sent from the server device 1, a means 5 which stores the speed of the transmission line 2 and the control data of memory capacity, etc., of the means 4, a means 6 which decides the kind of a display medium with the control data, a means 7 which acquires data from the server 2 and copies it on the means 4, a means 8 which sets the alternate data of data whose display is disabled, and a means 9 which controls the input/output of the data between the display device 10.</p> |
