PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a packed roasted rice cake capable of preventing peel-off, etc., of scorched marks when cooking in hot water and suppressing collapsing when cooking in a microwave oven by sealing roasted rice cake with a packing material made of a synthetic resin and heat-treating. SOLUTION: A piece of roasted rice cake 2 roasted to a state having scorched marks 4 is cooled and sealed with a packing material 3 made of a synthetic resin and heat-treated. Moisture contained in the central part of the roasted rice cake 2 is oozed out and the scorched mark 4 is joined with the central part of the roasted rice cake 2 in one body by gelatinization of starch, then a piece of roasted rice cake without generating collapsing even when gelatinizing the central part after taking out from the packing material is obtained in a packed state. |
