<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus which can specify an induction heating coil run out to the service life caused by damaging of a refractory and can easily demolish the refractory. SOLUTION: Dielectric cylinders 8a, 8b which do not form a closed circuit in the peripheral direction between the inner surface of the inclusion heating coils 1a, 1b and the refractories 2a, 2b, are arranged, and a DC electric source 5 which impresses DC voltage between a bar-like metal and the dielectric cylinders 8a, 8b through the refractories 2a, 2b, is arranged. A leak current detector 6 for detecting the leak current flowed between the bar-like metal and the dielectric cylinders 8a, 8b, is arranged to judge the service life of the refractories 2a, 2b by detecting whether the leak current exists or not.</p> |
