PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nylon composition excellent in self-lubricating properties and abrasion resistance and desirable to obtain machine parts such as bearings and gears. SOLUTION: This polyamide composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. poly-ε-caprolactam with 1-12 pts.wt. Fischer-Tropsh wax, paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax or petrolatum wax and 0.1-5 pts.wt. polyethylene wax having polar groups at terminals or as side chains.
