PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately reproduce a voice message without listening to the voice message again from its beginning because it is hard of hearing or missing of hearing. SOLUTION: A control section 2 reads a voice message stored in a storage section 3 in response to a reproduction command from a switch 7 and extracts a voice pattern corresponding to the voice message from a standard voice pattern section 4 and a voice synthesis section 5 synthesizes the voice. A voice pattern synthesized by the voice synthesis section 5 is outputted as a sound from a speaker 6. A counter 8 counts an output order of voice patterns outputted as a sound from the speaker 6. The control section 2 stops tentatively the reproduction of the voice message synthesized by the voice synthesis section 5 and outputted from the speaker 6 as a sound in response to a hold command by a hold key 9 and reproduces again the voice message within a preset range based on a content of the counter 8 upon the receipt of a hold command again from the hold key 9. |
