A silver halide color photographic material containing a pyrazolotriazole coupler represented by the following formula (I) or (II): <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or a substituent; X represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or a group capable of being splitted off by the reaction with an oxidation product of a developing agent; L1 represents an (n+1)-valent linking group; L2 represents a group represented by the following formula (III); and n represents 1 or 2, and when n is 2, two L2's may be the same or different;-[(A1)a(B1)b(A2)c(B2)d(A3)e(B3)f(A4)g(B4)h](III)wherein A1, A2, A3 and A4 each represents -O-, -S-, -NR2-, -N(R2)CO-, -CON(R2)-, -N(R2)SO2-, -SO2N(R2)-, -CO2-, -OCO-, -N(R2)CON(R3)-, -OCON(R2)- or -N(R2)CO2-; R2 and R3 each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an acyl group, an alkanesulfonyl group or an arenesulfonyl group; B1, B2 and B3 each represents an alkylene group or an arylene group; B4 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group; a, b, c, d, e, f and g each represents 0 or 1, and h represents 1, provided that a-b=0, c-d=0 and e-f=0; and at least one group represented by R2, R3, B1, B2, B3 and B4 in the substituents represented by L2 has a group represented by the following formula (IV):-A-NH-R4(IV)wherein A represents -CO- or -SO2-; and R4 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
