PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom tap type ladle for feeding the molten metal to be used in the pressure casting such as the squeeze casting to prevent generation of cracks due to thermal stress. SOLUTION: A ladle L comprises two members, i.e., a bowl member 10 which is the ceramics sintered article and a cylinder member 20. The bowl member 10 is provided with a hollow cylindrical part 11 at the bottom, while the cylinder member 20 has a stepped part 21 of expanded diameter on the top side. Both members are connected to each other by inserting the cylinder member 20 in the hollow cylindrical part 11 of the bowl member 10 to fit the stepped part 21 of expanded diameter. The clearance at the fitting interface is preferably <=0.1mm and the depth of the fitting interface is preferably >=10mm to prevent the play between the hollow cylindrical part 21 of the bowl member and the stepped part 21 of expanded diameter of the cylinder member and leakage of the molten metal. |
