PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the insertion efficiency and to deal with an electronic device of different specification of tape width easily by clamping the fringe part of an electronic device assembly at a part feeding position and delivering a single electronic device, obtained by cutting a tape, to a part inserting means through a device delivery means. SOLUTION: A chuck 6a-6d stopping at a part feeding position P advances to the position of a part feeding means 4 holding an axial type device assembly and then retracts while clamping the fringe part of electronic device assembly. Tapes 3a, 3b continuous to an axial type electronic device 1 advanced by a single device pitch are then cut off by means of cutters 5a, 5b to obtain a single electronic device 1. Another chuck 6a-6d stopping at a position Q for delivering a clamped axial type electronic device 1 then advances and delivers the clamped axial type electronic device 1 to a device delivery means 12 before retracting. Finally, the device delivery means 12 clamping the electronic device 1 advances and delivers the electronic device 1 to a device inserting means 11 before retracting. |
