PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate an image pickup part and a signal recording part from each other in an image pickup device and to perform information communication in respective parts by a radio system with less interference and disturbance between them. SOLUTION: This image pickup device consists of an image pickup means 11 which photographs a picture, a compression means 12 which compresses the video signal, a transmission unit 1 having a transmission means 13 for transmission, a reception means which receives transmitted information, and reception unit having an expansion means which expands the received signal. Communication between the transmission unit 1 and the reception unit is performed by a spread spectrum system. As compression and expansion processings of the video signal are performed, the spread spectrum communication where the signal level is low and an influence upon the other devices is small can be used to communicate the video signal. Thus, the image pickup part, the signal recording part, and a video display part can be separated, and the image pickup part can be miniaturized. |
