PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily perform channel selection and reception of broadcastings of many channels. SOLUTION: The signal from a ground wave antenna 1 is supplied to a VHF/UHF tuner 2, and the signal from a satellite broadcast antenna 3 is supplied to a BS/CS tuner 4. The control signal from a microcomputer 5 for system control is supplied to tuners 2 and 4 to select a desired broadcast channel. A non-volatile memory 9 is provided in relation to the microcomputer 5, and this non-volatile memory 9 is provided with memory areas 1 to 20 where channel selection data for channel selection and reception is registered. A remote controller 11 is provided, and direct channel selection keys 12 of numbers 1 to 15 and a sequential channel selection key 13 for channel-up/down are provided on this remote controller 11. The sequential channel selection key 13 is used to select the memory areas whose number (20) is larger than the number (15) of direct channel selection keys. |
