The breech is turned within its housing through 70 degrees from its carrier by means of a rotating pin. Its ears, pressed by the forces in opposite directions from the powder gases, resist, their rear parts touching the transoms/surfaces of the breech housing. The breech carrier which encloses the breech housing and barrel slides back due to the force of inertia as well as due to the gases from the burning of the powder which pass into the gas chamber which is bolted to the front part, returning from the revolving spring which is located peripherally on the barrel. The breech retaining lever in the open position on its carrier does not allow the breech to rotate during its return to the chamber except when the breech reaches its final forward position. The hammer mechanism allows the use of a magazine of more than 15 MAGNUM rounds while the revolving spring on the periphery of the barrel simplifies the manufacture of the pistol. The rifled barrel provides accuracy and stability to the weapon. The pistol with these elements becomes an offensive weapon and the type 1.6582 nickel-chromium steel used in its construction gives it great strength. |
