PURPOSE: To obtain an agent useful for treating a tumor called as a senile verruca in a seborrheic keratosis appearing on the head and face as a brown colored irregular spots in aged male persons. CONSTITUTION: This softening and detaching agent for a seborrheic keratosis is called as 'the detaching agent of a weak diluted iodine tincture', and has the composition of 75ml diluted iodine tincture and 25ml 70% ethanol, which contains 2.25g iodine and 1.5g potassium iodide. Also, though the keratosis has been treated only by a surgical excision, it can be treated simply by this external agent. |
