PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the observation of an index during the detection of sight line information by outstandingly displaying the index by means of an element in the case of detecting information on the sight line for an observer by a sight line detecting means. SOLUTION: The index for calibrating an observing point is flashed by transmitting signals from a CPU 100 to a LED driving circuit 106 which is a displaying device. Signals are simultaneously transmitted from the CPU 100 to a LCD driving circuit 105 to display 'CAL' at the outside of a finder view in the finder LCD, whereby an observer is informed that the calibration of an observing point is started. And the index starting a flash is observed by the observer, a switch is put ON with a releasing button pushed, then signals are transmitted from the CPU 100 to the LED driving circuit 106 to light the index for calibration. In this case, a basic signal driving the LED is set to be 75% duty when the index is lighted on during the detection of the sight line. |
