The double clamp device for connecting two pipes (1,2) comprises a first clamp section and a second clamp section. The first clamp section is a press clamp (6), whilst the second clamp section is a tie clamp (9). The press and tie clamp may be simultaneously connected together via a central screw (11). The tie clamp may have a clamping house in which, via an opening (12), the screw bolts (11) of the central screw are located.
