FIELD: railway transport, particular, track maintaining machines and mechanisms; applicable in cutting contaminated ballast and removal of contaminants from under the rail foot on the areas of intensive contamination. SUBSTANCE: ballaster has load-carrying frame made of metal sections and four supporting wheels, working unit attached to the frame and including gasoline engine or electric motor, reducing gear and working member of the chain jib type, working member feed mechanism with feed control drive, rail holding-down device with feed mechanism and feed control. EFFECT: 7-fold increase of efficiency, as compared with manual labor. |
