FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: new form of displacement hull provides for uniform smooth flow of water under stern. Hull contains side convex bilges whose sizes are relatively constant from bow to midship section and are reduced to zero at stern. Besides that, hull has inclined surface at angle slightly below 14 deg between ship's BL near midship section and line running from this point at distance of L/2 to other point on this surface approximately at distance of 0.2L from stern, where L is ship's length. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. |
