FIELD: woodworking industry, particular, methods of manufacture of piecework parquet blocks, mainly from nonindustrial hard wood applicable in manufacture of parquet blocks. SUBSTANCE: method of manufacture of piecework parquet blocks includes production of parquet blanks, their placing into drying ovens and machining. Blanks are made by cross-cutting of mainly, nonindustrial hard and soft wood with diameter of 50-120 mm into blocks 10-15 mm thick with their subsequent drying in drying ovens under the effect of electromagnetic pulse radiation of infrared spectrum with temperature of 20-80 C produced by special ceramic heaters made in form of tubes with diameter of 10-12 mm and arranged in chambers of drying ovens, equidistant with respect of worked to provide for uniform radiation of their entire surface. In so doing, exposure to radiation lasts from 0.8 to 3 s with intervals between pulses from 0.5 to 10 s for the entire cycle of drying continued from 38 to 46 h. Wave length of radiation ranges from 3.5 to 52 mcm with flux density from 200 to 300 W/sq.m. After radiation the parquet blanks are subject to machining. EFFECT: simplified by 50% production process and reduced respectively, labor input and cost of products, 1/3 reduction of used equipment, and saved industrial wood. 3 cl, 2 dwg, 2 tbl |
