<p>Laminated glass pane has outer (A) and inner (B) sheets of glass and a single- or multilayer laminating layer (C), opt. with an integrated optically active coating, with a simple and/or complex boundary edge contg. the edges of (A) and (B). The edge is sealed with a structural layer (D) of sealing plastic (I) which follows the macro-geometry of the edge and has an emulsion fracture surface, i.e. (I) is applied as a free-flowing emulsion and then dried on the edge in a shape defined by surface tension. Layer (D) flows on the glass edges.</p>
