DISPLAY APPARATUS

A display apparatus (Figure 2) has a frame (2) receiving an insert (10) such as a photograph. A sheet (3) of flexible material has a fixed portion (11) bonded to a backing portion (4) of the frame and a free portion (12) defining an aperture (15). The free portion thereby provides a hanger for hanging the frame from a picture hook (16). Alternative display apparatus (50) (Figure 9) additionally includes a connector (57) allowing a support member (54) to be engaged in a socket (62) when it is required to stand the frame on a supporting surface (155). The apparatus provides a simple and convenient means of displaying photographs in a hanging or standing configuration.
