The key web (1) of the key at its endface facing the grip part (2) has a drilling (10) parallel to the key projection. Spring loaded locating pins (4) can be brought into engagement with the drilling. With a key entered in the cylinder core, a spring loaded unlocking pin (5) is provided at the endface of the cylinder core. The unlocking pin works in conjunction with the locating pins (4), and these are pressed back in an unlocked position from the drilling. So that the key web is rotatable compared to the grip part (2) of the key, an indicating system (6-9) is coupled with the tapping (3) at the rear end of the key web, which in or at the grip part, indicates mechanically or optically the complete operating rotational direction.
