The tool carrier (11) for adjustment of the tool (12) clamped in it is drivably located in relation to a tangential C-coordinate around a pivot axis which is vertical to the plane formed by the C and Y coordinates. The tool clamping position of the tool carrier is radially spaced from the pivot axis. The tool carrier is connected with a drive pinion, which is engaged with a toothed bar driven forwards and backwards. The toothed bar is drivable with the aid of a hydraulic cylinder unit (23), which is equipped with a position-determinable path measurement device.
