<p>A ventilation/exhaust device for connection to a toilet bowl is provided, to extract foul air from the toilet bowl. The device is comprised of a main body member (1) and a secondary body member (2). The main body member (1) is of thin elongate shape to be removably secured to the rear of the bowl intermediate the bowl and the toilet seat. A vent means (4) is provided along the front of the main body member to permit the intake of air from the toilet bowl. The secondary body member (2) is attached to one side of the main body member (1), and overhangs the outside of the main body member (1). The secondary body (2) member has an inlet means (6) to receive, via a suitable conduit (7), air ingressed via said vent means (4), a filter to filter the air, and an outlet (8) to permit the egress of the air after filtration thereof.</p> |
