FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: high-voltage load disconnecting switch has additional arc-control circuit connected in parallel to main one and set up of turnable flexible conducting electrode with current-collecting turn and loose end looking up and away from closing end, and fixed electrode built up of two hooks with loose ends, one of them looking up and other, down. Movable contact is combined with arc-control chamber whose slit passes loose end of current-collecting turn of turnable electrode during switching operations; line conductors connected to contact lead are made in the form of spiral rings. Contact lead is flat bus with cone reinforced by bushing with spherical cone base for self-alignment with contact blade surface which is also spherical. During disconnection, arc-control circuit is first to close due to catching of turnable electrode turn by hook, then main-circuit contacts open. Further turn of main blade causes heavy bending of turnable electrode lagging behind main blade and abruptly leaves fixed-contact hook with the result that current-carrying circuit opens and strikes the arc which rises over vertical part of electrodes and stretches in different directions due to electromagnetic fields of line-conductor turns, arc-control chamber, and arc proper. EFFECT: improved reliability of load disconnection, reduced time and labour consumption in on-line control of supply mains, provision for remote connection and disconnection of line sections. |
