Disclosed is a disk cleaning apparatus within a laser disk player. The apparatus comprises a disk cleaning key(10), a microcomputer(12), an insertion slot(2), a cleaning pad layer(3), a cover(4) and a roadblock(6). The disk cleaning key(10) is set to a disk cleaning mode by an user's manipulation. The microcomputer(12) outputs a pickup control signal, a tray control signal and a spindle control signal according to an input signal from the disk cleaning key(10). The insertion slot(2) is formed in the tray(24). The cleaning pad layer(3) is formed the base face of insertion slot(2). The cover(4) where plural stages are formed is closely brought into contact with the upper part of the cleaning pad layer(3), so that plural disks can be safely arrived to the stages. The roadblock(6) is formed at an outer circumference of the cover(4). Thereby, the disk face can be automatically cleaned when the spindle servo is driven.
