The contour or shape adjustable seat has a backrest (1) in which the air chambers (2a, 2b, 2c; 3a, 3b) are arranged respectively with an air chamber (4a, 4b) at each side section of the seat. A control unit (5) controls the pressures in the air chambers. One part at least of the air chambers is assembled to form at least one group, selected for inflation using a region selector switch (11) of the operating unit (9). An operating element (12) of the operating unit is provided for adjusting the pressures in the air chambers (contour bladders) of the selected group. So that during an operation of the operating element, the air chambers of this group are acted on by pressure to be cyclically displaced in time, using the control unit, according to specified pressure graphs running cyclically between a min. and a max. pressure. |
