<p>Disclosed herein is a method for diagnosing autoimmune diseases. It comprises a step of immunologically detecting autoantibodies in body fluids of a subject suspected to have an autoimmune disease, said autoantibodies ('anti-MTOC-MT antibodies') being against microtubule organizing center ('MTOC'), microtubules ('MT') extending from the MTOC or accompanying proteins. It provides a simple, highly specific and highly reliable diagnosis of autoimmune disease including rheumatoid arthritis.</p> |
