<p>PURPOSE:To allow the user to display optional image information through selection by storing received image information in a memory for image information storage, reading only header information of a stored image information group after line connection/disconnection and displaying it as a list. CONSTITUTION:A request (index number) is sent from a key pad 3 via a videotex circuit network 5, a CAPTAIN information center 6 retrieves image information from an image information file to send it to a terminal equipment 1. Then the much received image information is written sequentially in an image memory 21 and stored therein. Then a line connection section 11 connects the terminal equipment 1 to a telephone set 4. Then only the header information is read from each image information stored in the image memory 21 by a 1st control means of a microprocessor circuit 19 by an instruction from the key pad 3, processed by a display control section 16 and a video RAM 17, converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter 18 and displayed as a list on a display section 2 of a cathode-ray tube or the like.</p> |
