PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective degreasing method free from occurrence of crack by setting a heating speed to a specific condition in a degreasing process of a compact for removing an organic binder by heating green compact of inorganic powder. SOLUTION: In the degreasing process of a compact for removing an organic binder by heating green compact obtained by forming a kneaded material composed of inorganic powder (e.g. Si3 N4 , Al3 O3 , Y2 O3 mixed powder) comprising e.g. ceramic powder or metal powder and an organic binder (e.g. paraffin wax, stearic acid or a dispersing agent mixture), a heating speed T is set to a heating rate not higher than a limit value T0 of heating speed expressed by the formula T0 =a (S/V)+b [S is the surface area of the compact; V is the volume of the compact; (a) and (b) is each a constant determined every composition of kneaded material used for compact]. |
